StepMark ("the App") is developed by Slavenko. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.

Data We Access

StepMark reads step count data from Apple Health (HealthKit) with your explicit permission. This data is used solely to display your step counts, progress, and history within the App and its widgets.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Specifically:

Your daily step goal preference
Historical step count records (up to 90 days)
Widget theme preference

No data is transmitted to any external server, cloud service, or third party.

Data Collection

StepMark does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. We do not use analytics, advertising frameworks, or tracking of any kind.

Third-Party Services

StepMark does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs beyond Apple's system frameworks (HealthKit, WidgetKit, SwiftData).

HealthKit

StepMark uses Apple HealthKit to read step count data. In accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines:

Health data is never shared with third parties
Health data is not used for advertising or marketing
Health data is not sold to anyone
You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices

Children's Privacy

StepMark does not knowingly collect any data from children. The App does not collect data from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
